Family photography is about the way you are together: the laughter, cuddles, sideways glances and beautifully ordinary moments that tell the truth of family life. My sessions are relaxed, gentle and designed around your family.

As a mother of three, I know children do not need to sit still or perform for the camera. I’ll give you simple guidance when it helps, then make space for your family to be yourselves.

Your session can take place at home, in your garden or at a favourite London location. I regularly photograph families in Hampstead, Highgate, Notting Hill, Kensington, Chelsea, Richmond and across London—but the best setting is always somewhere that feels like you.

My family photography sessions are casual and organic, focusing on natural interactions and genuine connections. I prefer shooting in a natural and minimal style, blending semi-posed and lifestyle photos to authentically capture your family’s essence. When selecting outfits, consider the shooting location and aim for attire that complements the surroundings. Neutral colors such as earthy tones, light creams, whites, grays, navy or pastel shades work best, as they enhance the natural beauty of your family without distraction. The most important thing is that you feel relaxed and confident, allowing your true selves to shine naturally in the photographs.

FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY DETAILS

time & investment

For the most beautiful natural light, outdoor sessions are usually best in the early morning or late afternoon during summer. In winter, midday can be lovely too.

If weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances affect your scheduled family photography session, rescheduling is always an option to ensure the best experience.

Sessions usually last 60–90 minutes, leaving enough room for little ones to settle in and for the moments to unfold naturally.
