I’m Aurelija, a family photographer in North London, creating natural and timeless photographs of families at home and outdoors.
My sessions are relaxed and gently guided, with plenty of space for children to simply be themselves. No pressure to perform for the camera and no need for perfect smiles — just your family, together.

For me, beautiful family photography is about connection.
The little glances. A child reaching for your hand. Someone making everyone laugh. The cuddles, movement and all those small moments that happen naturally when a family is together.
I will guide you when you need me, but I don’t want your photographs to feel overly posed. Instead, we’ll create a mixture of beautiful family portraits and natural, candid moments that feel like you.
The result is a gallery that is warm, honest and timeless — photographs that become even more meaningful as your children grow.
A Relaxed Family Photoshoot
You don’t need to worry about your children behaving perfectly. They really don’t have to.
Children can run, explore, cuddle, play, take a little break or simply need some time to warm up. I have been photographing families for many years, and I know that some of the most beautiful photographs happen when we stop trying to make everything perfect.
I’ll gently guide your family throughout the session while giving everyone enough freedom for genuine moments to happen.
My aim is for the experience itself to feel easy and enjoyable — not just to give you beautiful photographs at the end.
Outdoor Family Photoshoots in North London
North London has some wonderful locations for relaxed outdoor family photography.
Hampstead Heath is one of my favourites, with beautiful open spaces, trees, paths and changing light throughout the seasons.
Highgate Wood is lovely for a more intimate woodland feeling, while Alexandra Palace and the surrounding park can give us beautiful views and plenty of space for children to explore.
I also photograph families around Finchley, Hampstead, Highgate, Muswell Hill, Crouch End, Barnet, Southgate, Primrose Hill, Belsize Park and other areas of North London.
We don’t have to choose a famous location. Sometimes a quiet local park that your children already love is the perfect place.
Before your session, we can decide together what location will suit your family, the season and the kind of photographs you love.
Family Photography at Home
Some of my favourite family sessions happen at home.
Your home is already part of your family’s story. It’s where your children feel comfortable, where ordinary little moments happen and where so many memories are being made.
At-home family photography is especially lovely with younger children and babies because there is nowhere to rush to and nothing unfamiliar for them to get used to.
We can photograph cuddles on the bed, playing together, reading books, making breakfast or simply spending a slow morning as a family.
You don’t need a perfect house. Beautiful window light, your family and your connection are enough.
What Happens During Your Family Photoshoot?
Before your session, we’ll talk about your family, the photographs you love and whether your session will take place at home or outdoors. I’ll gently guide you while leaving plenty of space for real moments to unfold.
You don’t need to know how to pose. Your only job is to enjoy being with the people you love.
What Should We Wear?
Soft, natural colours and outfits that complement one another photograph beautifully. You don’t need everyone to match, and you won’t have to work it all out alone.

Family Photography Prices
Family sessions are relaxed and unhurried, giving us enough time for children to settle in and for real moments to happen.
The session fee is £150.
After your session, you’ll receive a private online gallery where you can choose the photographs you love.
Digital image collections start from £200 for 10 fully edited photographs, with larger collections available if you would like more from your gallery.
Black & white versions are included with your selected colour photographs.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a family photoshoot take?
Most family sessions last around 1.5–2 hours. I don’t like rushing families, particularly when young children are involved. We allow enough time for everyone to relax and for natural moments to happen.
What if my children don’t cooperate?
Please don’t worry about this. Children don’t need to sit still or smile at the camera throughout the session. I actually prefer letting them move, explore and be themselves. I’ll work around their personalities and gently bring everyone together when we need a family portrait.
What happens if it rains?
London weather is unpredictable! For outdoor sessions, I’ll keep an eye on the forecast. If the weather really isn’t suitable, we can discuss moving the session to another day.
Can we have our photoshoot at home?
Absolutely. At-home family sessions can be incredibly personal and beautiful, especially with babies and younger children. Your home doesn’t need to look like a magazine — we’ll simply find the best light and use the spaces that work for your family.
Can our dog come to the photoshoot?
Of course. Dogs are part of the family too and are very welcome at outdoor family sessions.
When will we see our photographs?
After the session, I carefully prepare your photographs and send you a private online gallery where you can view your images and choose your favourites.
